KCS Korean Community Services Hosts Fire Alarm System Improvement Discussion and Funding Presentation with Assemblymembers Edward Braunstein and Sam Berger

Bayside, NY — September 2nd, 2026, Korean Community Services (KCS) was pleased to welcome Assemblymembers Edward Braunstein and Sam Berger to our Bayside Headquarters for a tour and an opportunity to share more about the work we do each day to support our clients, staff, families, and the communities we are proud to serve.

We are especially grateful to share that KCS has received $200,000 in funding from Assemblymembers Braunstein and Berger to support critical upgrades to our fire alarm system.

During his visit, Assemblymember Berger spoke about the important role KCS plays in the community, noting, “We have organizations like KCS that are catered to specific cultures—and I see it around my district.” He also shared his appreciation for the work KCS does throughout the community and his willingness to support the organization whenever possible. Likewise, Assemblymember Braunstein shared, “I was excited when KCS bought this building, and I want to do anything I can to help get it up and going.”
