KCS has teamed up with AmeriCorps Seniors for the federally funded AmeriCorps Seniors Workforce Development Senior Demonstration Program (herein referred to as WFD) to support projects focused on supporting older adults as they seek to secure employment in professional, skilled labor, or paraprofessional careers. We aim to support older adults in obtaining permanent employment in skilled labor, professional or paraprofessional careers, provide training and/or certification for employment, and provide support through mentorship, coaching, transportation, and other forms of support. A competitive stipend will be provided for each participant.

Eligibility

  • Must be over the age of 55

  • Income must be below 400% of the federal poverty level

  • Must be a permanent U.S. resident/citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.
