This program provides hot home delivered meals for homebound elderly who are 60 years or older 10:00 AM through 12:00 PM. This service started for 40 seniors on 08/01/98 and increased its services for more than 100 seniors now. It also provides a weekend meal (6th days meal), divided into two shipments for Saturday meal to send cold meal for Thursday and hot meal for Friday with Thursday menu plan. Geographically this program covers the following areas: Flushing, Corona, Woodside, Sunnyside, L.I.C., and Astoria (Total 22,446 units and 4,602 units for FY' 07).
